Where Old-School Values Meet Modern Trucking

Platinum Express didn’t start with a large fleet or a long list of resources. It started in 1999 with two trucks, a lot of determination, and a willingness to go wherever the freight took us. In those early days, Myna Burba and the team built Platinum Express one load at a time, sometimes traveling hundreds of miles between shipments to keep things moving.

Over the years, we grew from those first two trucks into a fleet of more than 80 trucks, including both company drivers and owner operators. Along the way, we’ve hauled freight for a variety of industries, from groceries and plumbing supplies to materials used in home construction and improvement.

While our fleet has grown, we’ve never lost the close-knit culture that shaped Platinum Express from the beginning. We remain family-owned and operated, with Myna continuing to lead the way. Many of our drivers have been with us for more than 10 years, and we’re proud to know our team by name, not just by a truck number.

Meet Myna Burba

Myna Burba’s journey began in Southwest Ohio, where she grew up on a farm surrounded by horses and learned the value of hard work from an early age. After building her knowledge of business practices and finance while working alongside Dayton-area executives, Myna took a leap of faith in 1999 and, together with her husband, David, founded Platinum Express. What started as a small operation built on determination and a willingness to take on the challenges of the trucking industry became the foundation for the company she continues to lead today.
